WIN A NEW VITO

For a chance to win this fantastic prize, simply take a photo and tell us why you deserve to win a new Vito. The picture could be of anything; your existing van, your premises, your work colleagues - it just needs to demonstrate why a new Vito would be beneficial to you. The photo needs to be accompanied with a caption of no more than 50 words.

All entries will be uploaded into a gallery on the MadeForThePeople website. The submissions will be judged by a panel of experts and a shortlist of 10 finalists drawn up.

The finalist entries will then be available on the website for public votes during September. Whichever entry receives the most votes wins the van!

Overall Competition
1. By taking part in the competition all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. The competition is open to residents aged 18 or over in the UK only, entrants must have a full valid driver's licence.
3. All entrants will submit either (i) a video of: a TV advert, a vehicle review, a radio jingle, a sketch, a song or poem; (ii) a written submission; or (iii) a photograph with a caption; communicating why the New Vito would be right for their business or lifestyle. The submissions must include the following quotation "New Vito. Made for the People, Supporting the Nation". All entries must be made online at www.madeforthepeople.com or sent to the Promoter at Delaware Drive, Tongwell, Milton Keynes MK15 8BA by 31st July 2011.
4. The Entrants, by sending to the Promoter at the address set out at 3 above, or submitting and/or uploading submission on the website www.madeforthepeople.com, hereby grant Mercedes-Benz UK Ltd (MBUK) an exclusive worldwide license to host the submissions on the website and the right to use, re-produce, alter, adapt, broadcast, publish and communicate the submissions to the public for the purposes of promoting the submissions, the competition and/or the website.
5. In the event that an entrant's submission is chosen as the winning submission and in consideration of the competition prize, then that entrant hereby assigns all rights, title and interest in its submission to MBUK in perpetuity. This includes granting MBUK the exclusive right throughout the world in perpetuity to manufacture, distribute, promote, advertise, sell, lease, license or otherwise exploit commercially the submission in all media and technologies now or hereafter known including the right to communicate the submission to the public and to license all such rights to third parties in its absolute discretion.
6. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the entrant that submits the winning submission may continue to use the winning submission for its own non-commercial use.
7. Immediately following the announcement of the winning submission for the relevant competition, the exclusive rights granted to MBUK with respect to all submissions (save for the winning submission) automatically reverts to a non-exclusive license in perpetuity.
8. Entrants acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their own submissions and the consequences of posting or publishing their submissions on the website include but are not limited to any copyright infringements.
9. Entrants hereby warrant that they own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permission to use and authorise us to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all submissions submitted by them to enable inclusion and use of the submissions in the manner contemplated by the Competition Terms & Conditions.
10. MBUK do not permit or encourage copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on the website and will remove all submissions if properly notified and verified that such submissions infringe on another's intellectual property rights.
11. You must be the copyright owner of the submissions you submit and have the written permission of any other copyright owners if the submission is jointly owned.
12. You are entitled to grant MBUK every right referred to in these and other terms and conditions, and use of those rights will not violate the rights (including copyright) of any third party.
13. Any submission content of an illegal, offensive or defamatory nature will be immediately removed and the entrant will automatically be disqualified.
14. Entrants will be invited to re-submit any submission which is of poor production quality and difficult to distinguish the content.
15. Full details about the competition are available on www.madeforthepeople.com and entrants must comply with all the competition requirements. The Promoter will not enter into any correspondence about it.
16. It is the entrant's responsibility to ensure that the details they provide are accurate for the duration of the promotion.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to feature all or parts of the competition entries, names and locations in future promotions.
18. A panel of independent judges will decide on a shortlist of ten submissions (finalists) which will be displayed on www.madeforthepeople.com throughout September 2011. Members of the public will be able to vote for their favourite submission from those shortlisted throughout September via Facebook Connect on www.madeforthepeople.com. Each voter may only vote once. The winner will be that submission which has received the highest number of votes from the public at midnight on 30th September 2011.
19. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the competition closing date, MBUK reserve the right to choose an alternative winner.
20. There is one prize available of an EU5 110CDI Compact Vito panel van with standard specification. The colour of the vehicle will be confirmed prior to delivery.
21. Delivery date dependent on availability and sourcing. In the event that the prize is unavailable, a prize of similar value will be substituted.
22. MBUK will pay first registration fee, pre-delivery inspection and delivery cost. The winner will be responsible for insurance and all ongoing and future costs.
23. Delivery of the vehicle to the competition winner will take place after the Promoter receives the full insurance documentation of the winner. If the insurance details are not presented within 28 days the Promoter reserves the right to re-select a winner.
24. The Promoter reserves its right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion at any time and without any further notice.
25. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable.
26. Finalists will be asked to take part in publicity and agree to do so upon entering the competition.
27. Employees of MBUK, their agencies and families, retailer network or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

Vito on Tour

Back in May, we set off on a tour of the country to show off the New Mercedes-Benz Vito. Calling at over 80 Travis Perkins branches nationwide, it was a chance to see the New Vito up close and take it for a test drive. Not to mention win some great prizes and have a go at our buzzwire challenge.

Sadly, all good things come to an end and the tour is now over - but you can still enjoy some of the best bits in the video below. And be sure to check with your local dealer because the New Vito - and the buzzwire challenge - might be paying them a visit soon!
